Physical Sweeper Doublade (No Guard)
Doublade is a marvelous Physical Sweeper for single battles. It's primary goal is to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Choice Band will increase the damage of Doublade's physical moves by 1.5x at the cost of locking you into the first move you pick. With No Guard, every move used by or against Doublade will always hit. Night Slash or Rock Slide are added to provide additional threat coverage. With a Eject Pack equipped to it, if Doublade's stat stages are lowered, it switches to a chosen ally then the Eject Pack gets consumed.

◆ Close Combat is a physical 120-base power Fighting-type move (lowers your Doublade's defense and special defense by 1 stage).

Doublade Double Wall (Twin Steel Slash)
Doublade is an outstanding Double Wall for single battles. It is meant to have enough defenses and bulk to take both physical and special hits. Doublade is not a Pokemon anyone usually expects sees on the battlefield until Eviolite was attached to it. If Eviolite is held by a Pokémon that is not fully evolved, it will raises the Defense and Special Defense of that Pokemon by 50%. With No Guard, every move used by or against Doublade will always hit. A less technical yet more reliable version of Aegislash
