Hydreigon is a fabulous Special Sweeper. It tries to take down the opponent's team with high-damaging special attacks. Life Orb boosts the power of Hydreigon's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Levitate, Hydreigon is immune to ground; gravity/ingrain/smack down/iron ball nullify it. My friend used this in the lead at the Subway, and won! Since then it has been my lead, and I am not sorry for it! A big thanks! Remember Dark Pulse is Egg move, I used a gen 4 Gyarados.

Hydreigon is a notable Special Sweeper. This moveset attempts to take down the opponent's team with high-damaging special attacks. With Levitate, Hydreigon is immune to ground; gravity/ingrain/smack down/iron ball nullify it. Hydreigon is a powerhouse that shouldn't be messed with. It can take almost any opponent down pretty quickly Draco Meteor is my main STAB here, but due to the fact that it reduces my Sp.Attack by a whole -2 it can cripple me badly, which is why I would throw that on the back burner and use it when I just don't have a choice. So out pops Dark Pulse, my secondary STAB but nonetheless still powerful. Fire Blast and Focus Blast provide extra cover here allowing Hydreigon to not have to use Draco Meteor too much.
