Golem is a sensational Rock and Ground-typed Pokemon. It's frequent to find yourself dealing with Golem when battling in the 6th generation meta. Golem is weak to Fighting, Grass, Ground, Ice, Steel, and Water-typed attacks.

Physical Sweeper Golem (Rock Head)
Golem is an interesting Physical Sweeper. It's meant to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. With Rock Head, Golem does not take recoil damage besides struggle/life orb/crash damage. Iron Head or Thunder Punch are added to provide additional threat coverage.
♦ Bulldoze is a physical STAB-boosted 60-base power Ground-type move (100% chance lower adjacent pkmn speed by 1 stage).
♦ Superpower is a physical 120-base power Fighting-type move (lowers your Golem's attack and defense by 1 stage).
♦ Hammer Arm is a physical 100-base power Fighting-type move (lowers your Golem's speed by 1 stage).
♦ Iron Head is a physical 80-base power Steel-type move (30% chance to flinch the target).

Golem Physical Sweeper (Quick Rolling Boulder)
Golem is a phenomenal Physical Sweeper. It is primarily designed to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Leftovers are always a great recovery option to ensure Golem last longer regaining it's it's health every turn. With Sturdy, if Golem is at full hp it survives one hit with at least 1 hp. immune to ohko. Sturdy makes him able to have a guarantee to set up with Autotomize which gives him a 414 speed and has the benefit of giving him a chance of surviving low kick but I make no promises about grass knot. Leftovers can heal him after he survives with Sturdy which may allow him to survive another him depending on how many turns it is before he gets hit again and Priority will kill him. Stone edge and E-quake provide STAB.

♦ Earthquake is a physical STAB-boosted 100-base power Ground-type move (hits adjacent pokemon).

Golem is an interesting Physical Tank. It is meant to take a decent amount of physical hits while dealing some decent damage. Life Orb boosts the power of Golem's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Sturdy, if Golem is at full hp it survives one hit with at least 1 hp. immune to ohko.
