Whimsicott is a fabulous Grass and Fairy-typed Pokemon. It's a usual sight to see Whimsicott out in the 6th generation battlefield. Whimsicott is typically seen in the UU tier (Underused). Whimsicott is weak to Fire, Flying, Ice, Poison, and Steel-typed attacks.

Whimsicott is an outstanding Physical Sweeper. It is designed to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Life Orb boosts the power of Whimsicott's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Chlorophyll, Whimsicott's speed is doubled during sunny weather.
♦ Razor Leaf is a physical STAB-boosted 55-base power Grass-type move (high critical hit ratio. hits adjacent foes).
♦ Return is a physical 0-base power Normal-type move (max 102 power at maximum happiness).
♦ Secret Power is a physical 70-base power Normal-type move (effect varies with terrain. (30% paralysis chance)).
♦ Knock Off is a physical 65-base power Dark-type move (1.5x damage if foe holds an item; Note: This will also remove that item).
♦ Thief is a physical 60-base power Dark-type move (if your Whimsicott has no item, it steals the target's).

♦ Energy Ball is a special STAB-boosted 90-base power Grass-type move (10% chance to lower the target's special defense by 1 stage).
♦ Giga Drain is a special STAB-boosted 75-base power Grass-type move (Whimsicott recovers 50% of the damage dealt).
♦ Psychic is a special 90-base power Psychic-type move (10% chance to lower the target's special defense by 1 stage).

Whimsicott is a phenomenal Special Wall. It is primarily designed to take a considerable amount of hits from special attacks while dealing some decent damage. Leftovers are always a great recovery option to ensure Whimsicott last longer regaining it's it's HP every turn. With Prankster, Whimsicott's non-damaging moves have their priority increased by 1.
♦ Protect is a status move (prevents moves from affecting your Whimsicott this turn).
♦ Substitute is a status move (Whimsicott takes 1/4 its max hp to put in a substitute).
♦ Leech Seed is a status move (1/8 of target's hp is restored to Whimsicott every turn).
