What is a good competitive moveset for Zekrom? These builds have been optimized for Pokemon competing in X/Y Single Battles. The movesets and EVs have been specifically calibrated to deal the most amount of damage to the largest group of potentially common opponents and typing threats for the X/Y generation metagame.
Zekrom is a pretty decent Dragon and Electric-typed Pokemon. It's not-uncommon to find yourself dealing with Zekrom when battling in the 6th generation meta. Zekrom is considered strong enough to compete with Uber tiered Pokemon. Zekrom is weak to Dragon, Fairy, Ground, and Ice-typed attacks.

Physical Sweeper Zekrom (Teravolt)
Zekrom is a legendary Physical Sweeper. The purpose of this moveset is to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Choice Band will increase the damage of Zekrom's physical moves by 1.5x at the cost of locking you into the first move you pick. Life Orb boosts the power of Zekrom's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Teravolt, Zekrom's moves and their effects ignore the abilities of other pokemon. Rock Slide was added to provide additional threat coverage.
♦ Dragon Claw is a physical STAB-boosted 80-base power Dragon-type move that deals a great amount of damage.
♦ Fusion Bolt is a physical STAB-boosted 100-base power Electric-type move (power doubles if used after fusion flare).
♦ Wild Charge is a physical STAB-boosted 90-base power Electric-type move (has 1/4 recoil).
♦ Rock Slide is a physical 75-base power Rock-type move (30% chance to flinch the foes).
♦ Return is a physical 0-base power Normal-type move (max 102 power at maximum happiness).
♦ Shadow Claw is a physical 70-base power Ghost-type move (high critical hit ratio).
