Armaldo is an awesome Rock and Bug-typed Pokemon. It's a usual sight to see Armaldo out in the 4th generation battlefield. This Pokemon deserves to see more play in the meta. Armaldo is weak to Rock, Steel, and Water-typed attacks.

Physical Sweeper Armaldo (Battle Armor)
Armaldo is pretty popular Physical Sweeper. It is primarily designed to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Choice Band will increase the damage of Armaldo's physical moves by 1.5x at the cost of locking you into the first move you pick. Life Orb boosts the power of Armaldo's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Battle Armor, Armaldo cannot be struck by a critical hit. Aqua Tail was added to provide additional threat coverage.

♦ Cross Poison is a physical 70-base power Poison-type move (high critical hit ratio. 10% chance to poison).
♦ X-Scissor is a physical STAB-boosted 80-base power Bug-type move that deals a decent amount of damage.
♦ Superpower is a physical 120-base power Fighting-type move (lowers your Armaldo's attack and defense by 1 stage).

Armaldo is a fabulous Physical Sweeper. It was designed to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power.
