Special Sweeper Politoed (Water Absorb)

Moveset:
- Focus Blast

Politoed Special Tank (Puddles Of Win)

Politoed is a pretty decent Special Tank. It is meant to take a mighty amount of hits from special attacks while dealing some decent damage. Drizzle changes the weather to Rain when Politoed is sent out onto the field. This help boosts all water attacks while the Rain remains active. One of the few things stopping Politoed from drowning whatever gets in it's way is Hydro Pump's imperfect accuracy (Like always Surf is the main alternative to this). Scald is a nice option considering the burn it can give Ferrothorn and other stalls. However, Hydro Pump's power is needed for allowing Politoed to 3HKO specially defensive Tyranitar hiding in the sand and 2HKO Ninetales prancing around in sunlight. Ice Beam punishes any Dragons that pop-up and it also deals major damage to Breloom and Latios switching in. Focus Blast is mainly for Ferrothorn who would hate to get switched into that. Plus (as an added Bonus) Tyranitar also fears Focus Blast, suffering a 2HKO even with a defensive set in a sandstorm. The last slot is abit of a toss-up. Personally, I prefer Hypnosis to keep the enemy asleep while goto town but it's accuracy makes this hard to keep going. As for Hidden Power Grass, it seems to be a much more viable pick since both Gastrodon and Rotom-W hate it so much and both are pretty common.

Focus Blast is a special 120-base power Fighting-type move (10% chance to lower the target's special defense by 1 stage).
Hypnosis is a status move (causes the target to fall asleep).
Ice Beam is a special 95-base power Ice-type move (10% chance to freeze the target).
Hydro Pump is a special STAB-boosted 120-base power Water-type move that deals a gigantic amount of damage.

Belly Drum is a status move (Politoed loses 50% max hp; This also maximizes Politoed's attack stat).
Waterfall is a physical STAB-boosted 80-base power Water-type move (20% chance to flinch the target).
Ice Punch is a physical 75-base power Ice-type move (10% chance to freeze the target).
