Walrein is a decent Ice and Water-typed Pokemon. It's pretty regular to find yourself dealing with Walrein when battling in the 4th generation meta. This Pokemon deserves to see more play in the meta. Walrein is weak to Electric, Fighting, Grass, and Rock-typed attacks.

♦ Ice Beam is a special STAB-boosted 95-base power Ice-type move (10% chance to freeze the target).

Walrein Special Tank (Beast Walrus)
Walrein is a pretty decent Special Tank. This moveset attempts to take a nice amount of hits from special attacks while dealing some decent damage. With Thick Fat, the power of fire- and ice-type attacks against Walrein is halved. Very strong with high Hp but it lacks the Speed. Surf and Ice Beam are good for it to attack with hitting Flying, Dragon, Ground, Rock, Grass, and Fire with Super effective-ness. The next 2 moves are for it's recovery. If your Walrein gets low on Hp, Rest. The Chesto Berry will wake you up, that way you can continue to fight. If this happens again, you will be forced to use that last move. Snore them while your sleeping that way you can still cause them some pain, even if it's a little.
