Xatu is an outstanding Psychic and Flying-typed Pokemon. It's normal to find yourself dealing with Xatu when battling in the 4th generation meta. This Pokemon deserves to see more play in the meta. Xatu is weak to Dark, Electric, Ghost, Ice, and Rock-typed attacks.

Choice Specs will increase the damage of Xatu's special moves by 1.5x but will lock you into the first move you pick. With Synchronize, if another pokemon burns/poisons/paralyzes Xatu it also gets that status.

♦ Heat Wave is a special 100-base power Fire-type move (10% chance to burn the foes).
