Tentacruel is a marvelous Water and Poison-typed Pokemon. It's super common to see Tentacruel show up as a Gold/Silver opponent. There were no known abilities back in the Gold/Silver Pokemon games. Tentacruel is weak to Electric, Ground, and Psychic-typed attacks.

Physical Sweeper Tentacruel (Retro)
Tentacruel is a spectacular Physical Sweeper. It is meant to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. In the dark days prior to Generation IV, a move's damage category was determined by its type. Focus Sash helps protect Tentacruel from being one-shotted and allowing it to atleast use a crucial move when brought out.
