Physical Sweeper Kangaskhan (Retro)
In single battles, Kangaskhan is known as a magnificent Physical Sweeper. This technique aims to take down the opponent's team with heavy-hitting physical moves. In gen one, Kangaskhan played quite differently. Don't forget before Generation IV, a move's damage category was determined by its type.
◆ Double-Edge is a physical STAB-boosted 100-base power Normal-type move (has 1/4 recoil). ◆ Body Slam is a physical STAB-boosted 85-base power Normal-type move (30% chance to paralyze the target). ◆ Earthquake is a physical 100-base power Ground-type move that deals a high amount of damage. ◆ Rock Slide is a physical 75-base power Rock-type move that deals damage. ◆ Seismic Toss is a physical 1-base power Fighting-type move (damage = Kangaskhan's level. Can hit ghost types). ◆ Counter is a physical 1-base power Fighting-type move (if hit by normal/fighting move, deals 2x damage).

Note: The damage listed here under Versus is not actually calculated using the in-game damage formula. It is simply calculated using typing weaknesses and resistances from the selected type-matchup modifier along with STAB (if applied) to help sort through and give a general idea as to how powerful certain moves might be towards that selected typing after modifiers are applied. Several moves listed here may have additional effects that might alter actual damage output which are not factored on this specific list. Use damage calculators to find actual damage amounts.
