What is a good competitive moveset for Seadra? These builds have been optimized for Pokemon competing in Red/Blue Single Battles. The movesets and EVs have been specifically calibrated to deal the most amount of damage to the largest group of potentially common opponents and typing threats for the Red/Blue generation metagame.
Seadra is a pretty decent Water-typed Pokemon. Seadra is a not-uncommon Pokemon to see in Generation 1. This Pokemon deserves to see more play in the meta. There were no known abilities or equippable items back in the Red/Blue Pokemon games. Seadra's only type-related weaknesses are Electric and Ground.
Seadra is an outstanding Special Sweeper in single battles. It attempts to take down the opponent's team with high-damaging special attacks. Gen1 meta was a totally different monster. Remember prior to Generation IV, a move's damage category was determined by its type.
