Trapinch is popular Physical Sweeper. It's primary goal is to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Life Orb boosts the power of Trapinch's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Arena Trap, prevents adjacent foes from choosing to switch unless they are airborne. Rock Slide was added to provide additional threat coverage.

♦ Rock Slide is a physical 75-base power Rock-type move (30% chance to flinch the foes).

♦ Superpower is a physical 120-base power Fighting-type move (lowers your Trapinch's attack and defense by 1 stage).
♦ Rock Smash is a physical 40-base power Fighting-type move (50% chance to lower the target's defense by 1 stage).
