Gardevoir is a decent Special Sweeper for single battles. This moveset is designed to take down the opponent's team with high-damaging special attacks. The Sitrus Berry will restore 1/4th of Gardevoir's max HP when it reaches below half health and gets consumed. Focus Sash helps protect Gardevoir from being one-shotted and allowing it to atleast use a crucial move when brought out. With Trace, on switch-in or when it can Gardevoir copies a random adjacent foe's ability.

◆ Expanding Force is a special STAB-boosted 80-base power Psychic-type move (Gardevoir on psychic terrain: 1.5x power, hits foes).

Life Orb boosts the power of Gardevoir's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Synchronize, if another pokemon burns/poisons/paralyzes Gardevoir it also gets that status. Mystical Fire was added to provide additional threat coverage.
