Grapploct is a sensational Fighting-typed Pokemon. It's a pretty usual sight to see Grapploct out in the 8th generation battlefield. Grapploct is weak to Fairy, Flying, and Psychic-typed attacks.

Double Wall Grapploct (Popular/Trending)
Grapploct is a spectacular Double Wall for single battles. It is designed to have enough defenses and bulk to take both physical and special hits. The Sitrus Berry will restore 1/4th of Grapploct's max HP when it reaches below half health and gets consumed. With Limber, Grapploct cannot be paralyzed. Gaining this ability while paralyzed cures it. With a Coba Berry equipped to it, halves damage taken from a supereffective flying-type attack then the Coba Berry gets consumed.
◆ Octolock is a status move (traps target, lowers defense and spd by 1 stage each turn).
◆ Brick Break is a physical STAB-boosted 75-base power Fighting-type move (destroys screens, unless the target is immune).

Grapploct is an awesome Physical Sweeper for single battles. It tries to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Choice Band will increase the damage of Grapploct's physical moves by 1.5x at the cost of locking you into the first move you pick. With Technician, Grapploct's moves of 60 or less power get boosted by 1.5x power. In this case it would boosts Revenge, Brutal Swing and Payback. Skitter Smack was added to provide additional threat coverage. With a Eject Pack equipped to it, if Grapploct's stat stages are lowered, it switches to a chosen ally then the Eject Pack gets consumed.
◆ Revenge is a physical STAB-boosted 60-base power Fighting-type move (power doubles if Grapploct is damaged by the target).
◆ Brutal Swing is a physical 60-base power Dark-type move (no additional effect. Hits adjacent pokemon).
