Mandibuzz is an outstanding Dark and Flying-typed Pokemon. It's common to find yourself dealing with Mandibuzz when battling in the 8th generation meta. Mandibuzz is weak to Electric, Fairy, Ice, and Rock-typed attacks.

Mandibuzz is a remarkable Physical Wall. This moveset is designed to take a good amount of physical hits while dealing some decent damage. Focus Sash helps protect Mandibuzz from being one-shotted and allowing it to atleast use a crucial move when brought out. With Overcoat, Mandibuzz is immune to powder moves and damage from sandstorm or hail.
♦ Tailwind is a status move (for 4 turns, allies' speed is doubled).
♦ Brave Bird is a physical STAB-boosted 120-base power Flying-type move (has 33% recoil).
♦ Taunt is a status move (target can't use status moves its next 3 turns).
♦ Foul Play is a physical STAB-boosted 95-base power Dark-type move (uses target's attack stat in damage calculation).
♦ Whirlwind is a status move (forces the target to switch to a random ally).

Mandibuzz is a marvelous Physical Sweeper. It's primary goal is to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. White Herb will reset Mandibuzz's negative stat changes once. With Weak Armor, if a physical attack hits Mandibuzz it's defense is lowered by 1 and it's speed is increased by 2 stages. This ability also combos well with Lash Out, doubling it's power when Weak Armor is triggered. Rock Tomb was added to provide additional threat coverage.
♦ Knock Off is a physical STAB-boosted 65-base power Dark-type move (1.5x damage if foe holds an item; Note: This will also remove that item).
♦ Brave Bird is a physical STAB-boosted 120-base power Flying-type move (has 33% recoil).
♦ Sky Attack is a physical STAB-boosted 140-base power Flying-type move (charges, then hits turn 2. 30% flinch. high crit).
♦ Rock Tomb is a physical 60-base power Rock-type move (100% chance to lower the target's speed by 1 stage).
♦ Retaliate is a physical 70-base power Normal-type move (power doubles if an ally fainted last turn).
♦ U-turn is a physical 70-base power Bug-type move (Mandibuzz switches out after damaging the target).

Mandibuzz is a sensational Special Sweeper. It attempts to take down the opponent's team with high-damaging special attacks. White Herb will reset Mandibuzz's negative stat changes once. Life Orb boosts the power of Mandibuzz's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Weak Armor, if a physical attack hits Mandibuzz it's defense is lowered by 1 and it's speed is increased by 2 stages.
♦ Snarl is a special STAB-boosted 55-base power Dark-type move (100% chance to lower the foes special attack by 1 stage).
♦ Air Slash is a special STAB-boosted 75-base power Flying-type move (30% chance to flinch the target).
♦ Gust is a special STAB-boosted 40-base power Flying-type move (power doubles during bounce, fly, and sky drop).
♦ Heat Wave is a special 95-base power Fire-type move (10% chance to burn the foes).
♦ Incinerate is a special 60-base power Fire-type move (destroys the foes berry/gem).
♦ Shadow Ball is a special 80-base power Ghost-type move (20% chance to lower the target's special defense by 1 stage).

Mandibuzz is an extraordinary Special Wall. It tries to take a substantial amount of hits from special attacks while dealing some decent damage. Leftovers are always a great recovery option to ensure Mandibuzz last longer regaining it's healthiness every turn. With Overcoat, Mandibuzz is immune to powder moves and damage from sandstorm or hail.
♦ Taunt is a status move (target can't use status moves its next 3 turns).
♦ Toxic is a status move (badly poisons the target; Note: Poison types can't miss with Toxic).
♦ Whirlwind is a status move (forces the target to switch to a random ally).
Note: This moveset is considered Taunt bait! It is highly recommended you typically have atleast one move that does actual damage!

Mandibuzz Double Wall (Vulturic Destroyer)
Mandibuzz is a pretty decent Double Wall. It is meant to have enough defenses and bulk to take both physical and special hits. Leftovers are always a great recovery option to ensure Mandibuzz last longer regaining it's it's life every turn. With Overcoat, Mandibuzz is immune to powder moves and damage from sandstorm or hail. Best used against physical attackers.
♦ Roost is a status move (heals 50% hp. flying-type removed until turn ends).
♦ Knock Off is a physical STAB-boosted 65-base power Dark-type move (1.5x damage if foe holds an item; Note: This will also remove that item).
♦ Toxic is a status move (badly poisons the target; Note: Poison types can't miss with Toxic).

Mandibuzz Double Wall (I Am Zombie)
Mandibuzz is a pretty decent Double Wall. It's designed to have enough defenses and bulk to take both physical and special hits. Leftovers are always a great recovery option to ensure Mandibuzz last longer regaining it's it's HP every turn. With Overcoat, Mandibuzz is immune to powder moves and damage from sandstorm or hail. Sorry for adding another build of Mandibzz but this Pokemon is easily becoming another of my favorites.
