Rotom is an extraordinary Electric and Fire-typed Pokemon. It's a frequent sight to see Rotom out in the 8th generation battlefield. Rotom is typically seen in the UU tier (Underused). Rotom is weak to Ground, Rock, and Water-typed attacks.

Special Tank Rotom-Heat (Popular/Trending)
Rotom is a fabulous Special Tank for single battles. It's primary goal is to take a substantial amount of hits from special attacks while dealing some decent damage. The Sitrus Berry will restore 1/4th of Rotom's max HP when it reaches below half health and gets consumed. Safety Goggles grant Rotom immunity to powder and spore moves along with damage from hail and sandstorm. With Levitate, Rotom is immune to damaging Ground-typed moves (except Thousand Arrows). Levitate also makes Rotom unaffected by the effects of Spikes, Arena Trap, Toxic Spikes, Sticky Web, Rototiller or terrain effects. Keep in mind that Ingrain, Gravity, Smack down and the Iron ball item will nullify Levitate's effect.
◆ Thunderbolt is a special STAB-boosted 90-base power Electric-type move (10% chance to paralyze the target).

Rotom is a spectacular Special Sweeper for single battles. It was designed to take down the opponent's team with high-damaging special attacks. Throat Spray activates when a Pokemon uses a sound-based move (in this case Hyper Voice or Round) and increases Rotom's special attack stat by 2 stages. With Levitate, Rotom is immune to damaging Ground-typed moves (except Thousand Arrows). Levitate also makes Rotom unaffected by the effects of Spikes, Arena Trap, Toxic Spikes, Sticky Web, Rototiller or terrain effects. Keep in mind that Ingrain, Gravity, Smack down and the Iron ball item will nullify Levitate's effect. With a Eject Pack equipped to it, if Rotom's stat stages are lowered, it switches to a chosen ally then the Eject Pack gets consumed.
