Bulbasaur is an awesome Special Sweeper to use for single battles. It's primary goal is to take down the opponent's team with overwhelming special power. Choice Specs will increase the damage of Bulbasaur's special moves by 1.5x but will lock you into the first move you pick. Life Orb boosts the power of Bulbasaur's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Chlorophyll, Bulbasaur's speed is doubled during sunny weather.

◆ Petal Dance is a special STAB-boosted 120-base power Grass-type move (lasts 2-3 turns. Confuses your Bulbasaur afterwards).
◆ Leaf Storm is a special STAB-boosted 130-base power Grass-type move (lowers your Bulbasaur's special attack by 2 stages).

Terastal Phenomenon

In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (Generation 9), each Pokémon in Paldea has a Tera Type. A Pokémon's Tera Type is inactive until the Pokémon Terastallizes, at which time the Pokémon's type will change to its Tera Type.

There are 18 types, meaning there are countless combinations of Pokémon and Tera Types. Terastallizing a Pokémon allows you to enhance your battle strategies by increasing the power of any moves that have the same type as your Pokémon’s Tera Type or by changing your Pokémon’s weaknesses.
