Espurr is an interesting Psychic-typed Pokemon. Espurr is not a Pokemon anyone usually expects sees on the battlefield. Espurr can be quite a contender in the LC tier (Little Cup). Espurr is weak to Bug, Dark, and Ghost-typed attacks.

Special Sweeper Espurr (Infiltrator)
Espurr is an outstanding Special Sweeper. It's primary goal is to take down the opponent's team with high-damaging special attacks. Choice Specs will increase the damage of Espurr's special moves by 1.5x but will lock you into the first move you pick. Life Orb boosts the power of Espurr's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Infiltrator, moves ignore substitutes and the foe's reflect light screen safeguard and mist.
♦ Psyshock is a special STAB-boosted 80-base power Psychic-type move (damages target based on defense, not special defense).
♦ Thunderbolt is a special 90-base power Electric-type move (10% chance to paralyze the target).
♦ Charge Beam is a special 50-base power Electric-type move (70% chance to raise your Espurr's special attack by 1 stage).
♦ Energy Ball is a special 90-base power Grass-type move (10% chance to lower the target's special defense by 1 stage).
♦ Dark Pulse is a special 80-base power Dark-type move (20% chance to flinch the target).

♦ Substitute is a status move (Espurr takes 1/4 its max hp to put in a substitute).
♦ Heal Bell is a status move (cures your Espurr's party of all status conditions).
♦ Trick Room is a status move (goes last. for 5 turns, turn order is reversed).
Note: This moveset is considered Taunt bait! It is highly recommended you typically have atleast one move that does actual damage!
