Butterfree is a wonderful Bug and Flying-typed Pokemon. It's pretty usual to find yourself dealing with Butterfree when battling in the 1st generation meta. There were no known abilities or equippable items back in the Red/Blue Pokemon games. Butterfree is weak to Electric, Fire, Flying, Ice, Poison, and Rock-typed attacks.
