Protect while mega evolving so you don't have to worry about Absol's original speed being an issue on it's first turn. Protect can also be used to scout Choiced Pokemon. Sucker Punch or Night Slash are again obligatory STAB. Sucker Punch is preferred due to higher Base Power plus priority, but Night Slash is more reliable against defensive teams. Fire Blast nukes Scizor and Forretress and puts a heavy dent in Skarmory and Ferrothorns although, Ice Beam can help smackdown Intimidators like Salamence and Landorus-T. Play Rough is needed to cover Absol's Fighting-type weakness.
