Decidueye is a wonderful Grass and Ghost-typed Pokemon. It's a frequent sight to see Decidueye out in the 8th generation battlefield. This Pokemon deserves to see more play in the meta. Decidueye is weak to Dark, Fire, Flying, Ghost, and Ice-typed attacks.

Physical Sweeper Decidueye (Popular/Trending)
Decidueye is a spectacular Physical Sweeper for single battles. It's designed to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Weakness Policy activates if Decidueye is hit by a super effective move. The Weakness Policy is consumed and its Attack and Special Attack are increased by two stages each. With Overgrow, at 1/3 or less of its max hp Decidueye's offensive stat is 1.5x with grass attacks. With a Misty Seed equipped to it, if the terrain is misty terrain, raises Decidueye's sp. Def by 1 stage then the Misty Seed gets consumed.

◆ Spirit Shackle is a physical STAB-boosted 80-base power Ghost-type move (prevents the target from switching out).

Decidueye is a marvelous Physical Sweeper for single battles. It is primarily designed to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Life Orb boosts the power of Decidueye's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. The Shell Bell item option is to help Decidueye recover from the recoil damage it may take from Brave Bird. With Long Reach, Decidueye's attacks do not make contact with the target.

◆ Poltergeist is a physical STAB-boosted 110-base power Ghost-type move (fails if the target has no held item).
