Shuckle is a spectacular Bug and Rock-typed Pokemon. Shuckle are common Pokemon to see in the GS metagame. There were no known abilities back in the Gold/Silver Pokemon games. Shuckle is weak to Rock, Steel, and Water-typed attacks.

Shuckle is an astounding Physical Sweeper. It was designed to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. In the dark days prior to Generation IV, a move's damage category was determined by its type.

Return is a physical 0-base power Normal-type move (max 102 power at maximum happiness).
Strength is a physical 80-base power Normal-type move that deals a nice amount of damage.
Earthquake is a physical 100-base power Ground-type move (power doubles on dig).
Sludge Bomb is a physical 90-base power Poison-type move (30% chance to poison the target).
Rollout is a physical STAB-boosted 30-base power Rock-type move (power doubles with each hit. repeats for 5 turns).
