Muk is an extraordinary Poison-typed Pokemon. Muk is a super common Pokemon to see in Generation 1. There were no known abilities or equippable items back in the Red/Blue Pokemon games. Muk is weak to Bug, Ground, and Psychic-typed attacks.

Muk is a wonderful Physical Sweeper. It attempts to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Generation one was a completely different game from what it is now. Remember before Generation IV, a move's damage category was determined by its type.

♦ Sludge is a physical STAB-boosted 65-base power Poison-type move (40% chance to poison the target).
