Parasect is a phenomenal Bug and Grass-typed Pokemon. It's pretty standard to see Parasect show up as a Red/Blue opponent. There were no known abilities or equippable items back in the Red/Blue Pokemon games. Parasect is weak to Bug, Fire, Flying, Ice, Poison, and Rock-typed attacks.
