Pikachu is a sensational Electric-typed Pokemon. Pikachu is not a Pokemon anyone usually expects sees on the battlefield. Pikachu can be quite a contender in the LC tier (Little Cup). There were no known abilities or equippable items back in the Red/Blue Pokemon games. Pikachu's only type-related weakness is Ice.

Pikachu is an astounding Physical Sweeper for single battles. The purpose of this moveset is to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. ◆ Double-Edge is a physical 100-base power Normal-type move (has 1/4 recoil). ◆ Body Slam is a physical 85-base power Normal-type move (30% chance to paralyze the target). ◆ Seismic Toss is a physical 1-base power Fighting-type move (damage = Pikachu's level. Can hit ghost types). ◆ Fly is a physical 70-base power Flying-type move (flies up on first turn, then strikes the next turn). ◆ Thunder Wave is a status move (paralyzes the target).
