Sandaconda is pretty popular Special Wall for single battles. It is primarily designed to take a nice amount of hits from special attacks while dealing some decent damage. Weakness Policy activates if Sandaconda is hit by a super effective move. The Weakness Policy is consumed and its Attack and Special Attack are increased by two stages each. With Shed Skin, Sandaconda has a 33% chance to have its status cured at the end of each turn. With a Passho Berry equipped to it, halves damage taken from a supereffective water-type attack then the Passho Berry gets consumed.

Sandaconda is a pretty decent Physical Sweeper for single battles. This moveset attempts to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Choice Band will increase the damage of Sandaconda's physical moves by 1.5x at the cost of locking you into the first move you pick. Life Orb boosts the power of Sandaconda's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Sand Spit, when Sandaconda is hit sandstorm begins.
