With Water Compaction, Palossand's defense is raised 2 stages after it is damaged by a water-type move. This is a doubles build to be partnered with a Water Shuriken user with preferably low damage output (such as Smeargle). This will activate both the Weakness Policy as well as Water Compaction, increasing it's stats drastically in one turn.
