Bewear is an outstanding Special Wall for single battles. It is meant to take a large amount of hits from special attacks while dealing some decent damage. Leftovers are always a great recovery option to ensure Bewear last longer regaining it's life every turn. With Fluffy, Bewear takes 1/2 damage from contact moves 2x damage from fire moves. With a Lum Berry equipped to it, Bewear cures itself if it has a non-volatile status or is confused then the Lum Berry gets consumed.

The Shell Bell item option is to help Bewear recover from the recoil damage it may take from Double-Edge. With Fluffy, Bewear takes 1/2 damage from contact moves 2x damage from fire moves. With a Eject Pack equipped to it, if Bewear's stat stages are lowered, it switches to a chosen ally then the Eject Pack gets consumed.
