Heracross is a remarkable Physical Sweeper. It's purpose is to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Back before Generation IV, a move's damage category was determined by its type. Leftovers are always a great recovery option to ensure Heracross last longer regaining it's it's life every turn. With Swarm, at 1/3 or less of its max hp Heracross's bug-type attacks have 1.5x power.
♦ Brick Break is a physical STAB-boosted 75-base power Fighting-type move (destroys screens, even if the target is immune).
♦ Megahorn is a physical STAB-boosted 120-base power Bug-type move that deals a colossal amount of damage.

Heracross is an awesome Physical Sweeper. It is designed to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Keep in mind back before Generation IV, a move's damage category was determined by its type. With Guts, if Heracross is statused its attack is 1.5x; ignores burn halving physical damage. Facade's damage doubles when the user has a status affliction. Combine that with Guts to seriously give Heracross a sweet boost.
♦ Double-Edge is a physical 120-base power Normal-type move (has 1/3 recoil).
♦ Brick Break is a physical STAB-boosted 75-base power Fighting-type move (destroys screens, even if the target is immune).
