Quagsire proves to be an extraordinary Physical Sweeper for single battles. It is designed to overwhelm foes with heavy-hitting physical attacks. Back before Generation IV, a move's damage category was determined by its type. With a Soft Sand equipped to it, Quagsire's ground-type attacks have 1.1x power.
